Etsy Team Information

David and I will be spearheading the Glass and Jewelry Collective (TAM) Etsy Team.

The idea is that we'll be able to help promote one another's work on Etsy, and hopefully get more hits and sales to all of our shops.

The requirements for the team are as follows:
You must have an Etsy shop
You must be an active member of TAM
Your stuff must be handmade and you should be proud of it!Any handmade glass and jewelry is acceptable. Seed bead work? You bet! Glass Sculpture, marbles, whatever - sounds good!

Etsy Collective members, please add the following tag to your listings: GJCTeam

Please also heart the other members of the team (they are listed in full below)

If you have a blog, introduce the team!
A little possible blurb is below.

I sometimes add a little blurb about the goals of the team in my listings. Something like this:
The Glass and Jewelry Collective on Etsy was created to bring our diverse community of artists closer. Professional, intermediate and novice are all welcome to participate. Our Etsy Team is focused on helping promote and sell our work. Check out the Collective by doing an Etsy search on GJCTeam.

We may add in challenges later, but for now, that's it!

--------Thus far, we have the following on the team:

Artfire Guild Information

The idea is that we'll be able to help promote one another's work on Artfire, and hopefully get more hits and sales to all of our shops.

The requirements for the team are as follows:
You must have an Artfire shop. I've heard that you also have to be a verified member. If we get enough interested people, then I'll upgrade myself and turn in our application. Artfire is $7.00 per month FOREVER. Well... if you upgrade pretty quickly, they've got a special going.

You must be an active member of TAM
Your stuff must be handmade and you should be proud of it!
Any handmade glass and jewelry is acceptable. Seed bead work? You bet! Glass Sculpture, marbles, whatever - sounds good!

If you have a blog, then please blog an introduction about it.

We have been accepted as a Guild, so please cross promote each other by putting the following into your listings: GJCG

Also, it is helpful if you put a little blurb about the Guild in your listings and/or shop info. Here is a sample thing you can write (feel free to copy and paste):
The Glass and Jewelry Collective on Artfire was created to bring our diverse community of Glass and Jewelry artists closer. Professional, intermediate and novice are all welcome to participate. Our Guild Team is focused on helping promote and sell our work. Check out the Collective by searching items with the tag GJCG.

Please also mark the other shops in the team as your favorites. In artfire it is called "my market" and is under the buying tab to the left of your screen.

We may add in challenges and promos later, but for now, that's it!

Team Helpers

NValentine will be helping us with our promotion and with our challenges, which is great since she's done this sort of thing beforehand. She and I have, thus far, mentioned a "grand opening" and also some charity work. Once we get approved for our shop name and everyone gets settled, then we'll get together and talk about this some more.

Sleekbeads has made our banner, which matches our blog and also looks great.

Thanks to you both!

Hang in there while we get ourselves together!

Coming Soon!

David and I will be spearheading the Glass Collective Etsy and Artfire Teams.

If interested, please PM me on TAM with your Etsy or Artfire shop names.

The idea is that we'll be able to help promote one another's work on Etsy, and hopefully get more hits and sales to all of our shops.

The requirements for the Etsy team are as follows:
You must have an Etsy shop
You must be an active member of TAM
Your stuff must be handmade and you should be proud of it!

Any handmade glass and jewelry is acceptable. Seed bead work? You bet! Glass Sculpture, marbles, whatever - sounds good!

If you have a blog, then once we open the team, I'll ask you to blog about it.
Once we get a membership list, I'll ask you to heart the other members and have them heart you back (add other member's shops to your favorites list).

When we get accepted as a team, you should add the team name into your tags, titles or description - this will help browsers find your stuff.

We may add in challenges later, but for now, that's it!

Artfire information will be coming later, after I know more about it.
